Our Mission

Unlike most other IT Asset Disposal companies, ARC Broward IT Asset Recovery is a nonprofit organization that provides training and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. People with disabilities fully participate in many aspects of our operation from processing and sorting electronics to dismantling computers, to testing monitors and more.The business was founded as a “mission-based enterprise” of ARC Broward, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services to more than 1,400 children and adults with disabilities. The mission-based enterprise concept embraces efforts that ARC Broward has made to operate a revenue-generating business that advances its social mission.

Our Facility

ARC Broward IT Asset Recovery operates out of a secure service facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that includes:

• Entry points with deadbolt solutions to guard against unauthorized entry
• Strict security policy in which all guests must be escorted by personnel
• 9 foot high fencing surrounding restricted access area for equipment that still contains customer data
• Video monitoring system throughout warehouse
• Alarm system with electronic access control and external monitoring motion sensors
• Employees pass Level 2 background screening and participate in Drug Free Workplace Program
