Aragon Iron & Metal was established in 1951 by Martin and Louise Aragon. The Aragon's strived to assist each customer with their needs. They worked hard to give everyone the most for what they recycled.

Today, Aragon's is located just 3 miles North of Old Town Fort Collins on Highway 287. Always striving to serve our customers, we have added the equipment and services necessary to make recycling convenient and efficient. Locally owned and operated, Aragon Iron & Metal is now run by Dave Aragon, his sister Priscilla Barela, and a third generation of Aragons. As a family run business, Aragon's works to maintain that same strong committment to our customers as well as deliver new and innovative services to our community. ASSURANCE

We recycle many every day household items. When you drop these items off, you can be assured they will be recycled. Keeping recyclable items from the landfill is more important than ever. Remember, items must be free of non-metal material like fabric, plastic, trash, wood, etc.

FERROUS MATERIAL

Small quantities of ferrous material is accepted for recycling purposes only and is not paid for. Quantities over 1000 lbs. are paid for by the ton. How do you know if an item is ferrous? If a magnet sticks to it, it's probably a ferrous material!NON-FERROUS MATERIALAll non-ferrous material like aluminum cans, aluminum patio furniture, christmas lights, are paid for by the pound. There is no minimum weight required.
