At American Recycling Industries, we continually strive to protect our environment through recycling and proper disposal, while paying our customers top dollar for their material. Our pledge to our customers is that all recyclable materials will be recycled and never land filled, and all un-recyclable material will be disposed of properly in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

We understand that not all of our customers recycle for a living, so we have a knowledgeable staff that can assist customers in identifying materials and answering any questions about recycling. We offer same day cash payment* for the convenience of our customers.

*same day payment will be in accordance with Arizona State metal recycling laws which states the maximum amount paid to individuals for non-ferrous metal shall not exceed $299.99 per person, per vehicle, per day. This does not include payment on cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans, or ferrous metal. Industrial accounts have no limit on cash paid out per day. Anything over $299.99 will be paid by check, which will be mailed to the address on the customer’s drivers license. Please have a valid Arizona I.D. at the time of sale of any non-ferrous metals.

Services

Containers:
In addition to recycling plastic, paper, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, American Recycling offers our customers many services, such as roll offs containers, bins, and trailers. If you need a container at your location for material, we have many sizes available to suit your needs, from 40 yard roll offs, to 6X8 dumpsters, all the way up to a 53 ft trailer if needed. You can save time and money by storing material at your location in one of our containers until you have a full load, instead of making many small trips. Also, we can arrange to have it picked up when it is ready. We offer the following size containers, and will fabricate containers to customer’s specifications if needed.

Equipment:

In addition to the containers we have available, we also have equipment that helps us make our material as profitable as possible, meaning we can pay our customers more for the material. We currently have balers to make our products easier to ship, and to increase density for heavier loads. We are also one of the few companies in Phoenix to have a shredder and granulator for our plastic. With these machines, we are able to take bulky material such as plastic dumpsters, and shred them into fine granules which are loaded into super sacks and easily fill an entire truck without wasting room.

Shredder:
Our plastic is loaded onto the conveyor, where it is brought up to the shredder. The Shredder then shreds the material into manageable sizes for the Granulator, producing a product such as this:

Granulator:
Once the plastic is shredded, it is dropped onto another conveyor to our Granulator. The Granulator is responsible for taking the shreds of plastic, and turning them into fine granules that are easy to store, and easy to ship without taking up much space on a truck, or in our warehouse. 

Super Sacks:
From the Granulator, the plastic reaches the final stage, the super sacks. All the fine, freshly chopped granules are dumped into these sacks, where they are stored on pallets until the material is ready to be shipped.
