Earth Waste & Metal is aVermont-based company with its home office located at 49 Wales Street in Rutland, Vermont. Earth Waste & Metal currently operates metal recycling yards in Castleton and Middlebury, VT, in Morrisonville, NY and Manchester, TN. EWM performs demolition services throughout Vermont, New Hampshire and Western New York. EWM currently operates 5 municipal transfer stations in the State of Vermont including those in the towns of Brandon, Barre, Northfield, Center Rutland, and Bradford. EWM owns and operates five municipal transfer stations in New York State in the towns of Kingsbury, Whitehall, Granville, Jackson, and Greenwich.

Earth Waste & Metal also owns and operates an aggregate site in Clarendon, Vermont, and operates a 100,000 square foot processing and recycling facility located in East Middlebury, Vermont. We also have a vibrant used auto parts division operated in Manchester, Tennessee including an extensive parts inventory listed on the web.Earth Waste & Metal is fully Licensed, Bonded and Insured.

History

Gaylen Fann Auto Parts & Sales, inc was started in 1965 by Gaylen & Janet Fann.Earth Waste & Metal purchased the business in 2009, and expanded services to include broader metal recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. In 2014, EWM purchased a facility in Murfreesboro which is dedicated to non-ferrus and commercial recycling needs for cardboard, paper, plastic, and glass.
