In July 2006 Yolanda Drenner formed Access Metals Inc. Her goal was to launch a metal service center specializing in small-quantity orders of metals.  Access Metals has now carved out a robust market by catering to small-purchase customers. The creation of Access Metals is a longtime dream of Yolanda Drenner of owning and managing her own minority run business. Access Metals intends to be a quality leader in both products and service to her customers.

Access Metals will serve our customers by providing stocked goods and services for their industrial and personal needs.  Access Metals aims to offer quality metals to people regularly engaged in manufacturing, machining, and fabricating, along with the average home-owners, with prices which are competitive in comparison to the other metal service centers.  The industry is dominated by very large steel companies, who direct their sales to very large customers.  They want to avoid smaller customers and thus implement a minimum order charge and have huge cutting fees.  The Management of Access Metals believes there is a current market for smaller quantities of metal cut to size, because existing service centers are set-up for bulk distribution and are not diversified to service walk-in business and small orders.
