ACADIA SCRAP & SALVAGE, INC., serving the Acadiana area since 1952. We are a family owned and operated business. The company was founded by, Burgess Thomas and is now run by his son, Ira. Our mission is to celebrate “Earth Day” everyday for the immediate benefit of Acadiana and the long term effect on our world through recycling. Our yard is located in Crowley, Louisiana south of Interstate 10 between Lafayette and Lake Charles.We handle scrap metals, as well as, sell pipe and steel.

We can service all of your scrap needs. We have scrap bins that can be placed in high volume areas and are serviced by our company trucks. We also purchase scrap materials and off-load them for you at our Crowley yard.We serve your steel needs with a varied inventory of angle iron, flat bar, beam, plate, and tubing. We also carry new and used pipe in various sizes. Delivery is available to most places!It has been our pleasure to serve the farming industry, fabrication, oil and gas companies, welders, and municipalities, in addition to the individual needs of our community for over 55 years.
