Processing & Recycling
Once your equipment is back at our warehouse everything is weighed and sorted. We have different processes depending on the age and condition of the equipment.
While the vast majority of the equipment we receive is extremely outdated and sent directly to recovery, some is set aside for refurbishment and reuse. Part of being a Certified R2:2013 Recycler is having a robust reuse and process plans. Reuse and refurbishment is the most environmentally friendly form of recycling. It keeps them out of the landfill, extends their useful life and provides an affordable alternative to consumers. For equipment well beyond any useful life, it is sent to recovery. This is a basic form of urban mining were the equipment is separated and sorted, then sent to metal recovery facilities. All downstream vendors are audited and approved as part of our R2:2013 Certification.

Usually 2-3 business days after your pickup or drop-off, we will email you a copy of your Certificate of Recycling/Destruction. This is a document we provide that reflects the weight of equipment we received.
