We know you want to discard of things responsibly - that's why we've established a drop-off site conveniently located just north of downtown Omaha at 1806 N 13th Street.However, should you find that you have more to transport than you are able to yourself, just dial 402-344-4488 to rent an A-1 container. we'll drop it off - you fill it at your leisure - and we'll come pick it up again.

A-1 Recycling buys scrap metal in 2 major categories: ferrous and non-ferrous
Ferrous includes any metal that is “magnetic” due to the iron content. This would include steel and cast iron. Pure nickel is magnetic, but is considered a non-ferrous metal. Stainless Steel has iron alloyed into it, but is also considered a non-ferrous metal.Non-ferrous metals are not magnetic and usually have a higher value than ferrous metals. The most common non-ferrous metals include:

• Zinc (die cast)
• Lead

Rules and Guidelines for your safety and ours

• CUSTOMER must obtain necessary permits, barricades, etc. If container is to be placed on any public property, streets or alleys.
• CUSTOMER will not hold A-1 Containers liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control.
• CUSTOMER Accepts liability for any/all damage to pavement, driving surfaces, container placement areas, lawns or any other area utilized by A-1 trucks or containers.
• All homeowners or landlord/homeowner must be present for signature.
• CUSTOMER accepts full responsibility for equipment and custody of containers against and all claims resulting in customer's use.
• DO NOT load with tires batteries, appliances, air conditioners, paint drums, solvents and any liquids of any type, wet cement, toxic or hazardous waste, as defined by local, state or federal regulations.
• DO NOT force back door closed. Complete loading only after the back door has been closed and locked manually.
• DO NOT park vehicles or objects in front of containers, which will restrict the pickup of containers.
• PRIOR arrangements must be made before loading containers with concrete, blocks, dirt, bricks and/or gravel so the legal weight limits are not exceeded.
