69/82 Metal Recyclers is a locally owned business dedicated to suit the needs of any and all of our customers.  We currently operate two locations within Texas, and have a new location on the horizon in Colbert Oklahoma.  All of our locations accept  ferrous and non-ferrous metals for recycling purposes.  Please stop by one of our locations where we can get you in, get you paid, and help the environment all in one stop.

Our History:

Our family has been in the area for many years, and started many businesses ultimately leading to the recycling business. We first dipped  into the recycling business when the stimulus program was put into place in 2010 CASH FOR CLUNKERS. We enjoyed the cash for clunkers program so much we decided to take part in the metal recycling industry.  69 Metal Recyclers was open and took off with great success.  Since then, our company has been able to expand to three locations within Texas and Oklahoma. Our business is locally owned and operated and helps to produce many jobs for the Grayson and Bryan Counties, as well as provide an easy source of income for our community. The owners of the company work side by side with everyone else to assure a great experience with our company. We are growing and plan to continue to grow and help the community keep our environment clean, as well as bring business to our town.

Why Recycle?

• Conserve natural resources - Produce products with recycled materials slows down deletion on non-renewable resources.
• Saves landfill space - Keeping recyclable items out of our landfills keeps air and water cleaner. Once they are in the landfill they are there forever.
• Reduce water pollution - The greenhouse gas methane produce toxic pollutants in the water as waste breaks down over time when it's put into a landfill.
• Good for Communities - Extracting materials from mines or forests is done far from the place where goods are consumed; however recycling starts in your own home. Gathering recyclables and reprocessing them for future products is done locally by people who live, work, and spend money in their own communities.

Recycling Process:

We try to make the experience at our yards very easy, simple, and fast. All locations have two separate sets of scales for recycling different types of metals Ferrous and Non Ferrous. Ferrous would consist of larger items such as cars, short and long iron, tractors, and farm equipment. Non Ferrous would be smaller items as in aluminum, copper, brass, and batteries.

For all Ferrous items you would drive over our scales to get your beginning weight and our staff will direct you where to drop off your material. The employees on the yard will unload your items and direct you back to the scale to get your empty weight. From there, you visit the pay window where we will take the difference of your starting and ending weight to get your recyclable materials weight.

We do offer commercial pricing to those who have large quantities of material. Please contact our buyer to discuss further details, or send us and email and we can get in touch with you

On site cleanup/demolition?
Yes, our company can do on site cleanups of oil fields, construction sites, and any other large demolition sites. Call either of our locations to set your prices and schedule a start date.

Residential pickup?
We can do residential pickup of vehicles, which will include a service fee. The fee will vary depending on your location, please call for rates and to schedule your pickup.

Roll off box service?
Do you have a big project going on and would need a roll off box at your location? We can drop off, pick up, and mail a check. This service does include a fee, please call for rates and to schedule your roll off box.
