We purchase IT assets from businesses, large and small, providing competitive return on your IT investment. We buy servers, network equipment, telecom, laptops, desktops, and more...Our mobile shredding service can come to your office, data center, or server room to securely destroy your hard drives and other media – both magnetic and optical. When you contact us for a valuation or pickup, we'll begin with an inventory. If you don't have an inventory available, we can come onsite at no additional fee and assist with an assessment. Our team will then ask a few simple questions to finalize the scope and logistics. We will then provide an initial estimate of value, and if applicable, costs for premium services, or recommend our free pickup and recycling services. For over 85% of our customer projects, we either write our client a check, or are able to offer a free pickup and recycling service!
PREMIUM SERVICES
Once your equipment is transported by our logistics team to our facility, the total weight of material from your pickup is recorded, and the material is quarantined if premium services have been requested.
Once any premium services are applied, and the pickup material is weighed, processing and sorting begins:
Hard drives are removed from equipment and either wiped with a 3-pass binary wipe process or shredded.
Equipment that may be reusable is separated for further evaluation, testing, and refurbishment.
Toner and ink cartridges are removed from printers and copiers.
Batteries are removed, separated by chemistry, and insulated and packaged per US DOT requirements.
End-of-life equipment and material is dismantled and separated by type into components such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, insulated copper wire, plastics, circuit boards, breakage.
The resulting materials are packaged, aggregated and transported to regional downstream facilities for further processing, including shredding and electromechanical separation and ultimately to its final destination at a smelter. Resulting commodities then can be reintroduced into the market as raw materials for the manufacturing of new goods.
All our processes and those of our downstream partners conform to the strict R2:2013 standard for e-waste recycling.
Once your project has been completed, you will receive an R2:2013 certificate of recycling, with the total weight of material collected, and detailing the processes applied for data destruction. If applicable, you will also receive an asset log and/or destruction log, along with a purchase form or invoice, depending upon the final valuation and costs of the project. We track all of the projects through our CRM software, and at any time can provide the total weight of material that we've collected and processed for you.
