Established in 1952 The H & R name is synonymous with scrap metal recycling in the Milwaukee area and the Midwest. What began with one truck collecting batteries has grown into what the business is today. The business was founded by Reuben M Katz in 1952 and has grown to be one of the largest scrap metal recycling company in the Midwest. In the early 1960s, Ruby began putting an emphasis on scrap metal recycling, auto dismantling & processing along with nonferrous and ferrous steel for scrap processing. The company continued to grow in the Milwaukee area, gradually devoting all of its resources to scrap metal recycling & processing. H & R Scrap Metal continues to claim its place as the largest scrap metal recycling operation in Milwaukee and the Midwest . Our motto continues to be Recycling today for a greener world tomorrow.
