Alupro champions aerosol recycling at ADF 2025
Later this month (28-29 January), Alupro will exhibit at the 2025 Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF). Taking place at the Expo Porte de Versailles as part of Paris Packaging Week, the event will see hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of delegates come together to discuss sector progress, technology innovation and industry growth opportunities.

Alongside showcasing its latest initiatives, campaigns and behavioural change programmes on Stand T26, Alupro will bring together leading European representatives from across the packaging supply chain for an engaging panel session surrounding best practice aerosol recycling.

Co-hosted by Predrag Ozmo, sustainability director at Ball Corporation; and Tom Giddings, executive director of Alupro, the session will cover important themes including the challenges surrounding best practice kerbside recycling and pioneering initiatives to improve aerosol capture rates. Joining Ozmo and Giddings will be Andre Pastore-Bertin, head of packaging R&D at Henkel Consumer Brands; and Thomas Merry, commercialisation and innovation manager at SUEZ UK.

Commenting on the event, Giddings said: “Having founded and spearheaded the UK Aerosol Recycling Initiative (UKARI) back in 2022, we’re committed to increasing aerosol collection volumes and driving a national increase in recycling rates. Already, the cross-sector programme has established an accurate capture baseline, with several other major projects in progress to ensure material viability in a post-EPR and post-DRS landscape.

“Exhibiting at ADF 2025, and co-hosting a panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities surrounding aerosol recycling, will help to celebrate best practice from across Europe and increase awareness of the initiative. We’re looking forward to showcasing our latest campaigns, exploring the progress of UKARI and inspiring wider involvement from across the aerosol industry.

“As a leading event in the European packaging calendar, ADF will prove the perfect platform to highlight the barriers faced, but also the widespread progress being delivered behind the scenes to accelerate aerosol capture and recycling rates.”

The panel discussion will take place on the first day of ADF 2025 (28 January). To register your attendance, visit www.parispackagingweek.com/en. For more information about Alupro, or its wider work to fulfil the industry’s obligation
