SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): UFP Industries, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, announced that its affiliate, UFP Packaging, LLC, has successfully acquired C&L Wood Products, Inc. (C&L), a major pallet and mulch producer with headquarters in Hartselle, Alabama.
Following the agreement, C&L will function as a component of the PalletOne business unit of UFP Packaging. Additionally, the company's top executives, such as President Henry Bowman and Operations Manager Frank Janek, will continue to work for C&L. With this deal, PalletOne's reach into Northern Alabama and Central Tennessee has grown.

PalletOne executive vice president Justin Elwell commented on the deal, saying that the acquisition of C&L will broaden PalletOne's geographic reach by giving it fresh access to northern Alabama's high-volume pallet production. In order to better serve a larger spectrum of clients, the company intends to grow C&L's activities, he continued.
Henry Browman, meanwhile, stated that the business is thrilled to be a part of the top packaging solution supplier in the United States. He said it looks forward to combining two outstanding teams to produce additional advancements and growth.
C&L was established in 1975 and currently has about 115 employees. Through November 2024, the business claimed sales of $24.8 million for the previous 12 months.
