SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): The Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP) announces the election of three new members to its Board of Directors for 2025. The newly elected board members bring years of experience and leadership to help address the challenges and mission of AHMP. The new directors are Jan Marnicki, Managing Environmental Scientist at Barton & Loguidice; Dave Rice, Founder of Rubicon EHS; and Vincent Ricevuto, Chief Operating Officer at Arora Engineers.
“We are pleased to welcome these new Directors to the AHMP Board,” said Kelsey Forde, Chair of AHMP. “Their diverse expertise will enhance the strength and impact of our board and help guide the future of the organization.”
Jan Marnicki, CHMM is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in EH&S compliance, project management, and consulting. Currently serving as a Managing Environmental Scientist at Barton & Loguidice, Jan coordinates and oversees environmental projects in Connecticut, including landfill monitoring, industrial stormwater compliance, and Phase I Environmental Site. With a detail-oriented and collaborative approach, she manages budgets and invoicing for clients, contributes to departmental planning, and mentors field staff, all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety as an active member of the Safety Committee.
Dave Rice, CHMM has more than twenty years of experience in environmental, health and safety (EHS) consulting, management, and oversight. In January 2021, he founded Rubicon EHS to explore new opportunities working with like-minded business owners to meet and achieve their EHS obligations and goals. Dave has spent much of the past twenty years providing environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance consulting services to a variety of clients in the automotive, chemical, commercial lubricants, energy storage, food and beverage, manufacturing, refrigerant gas, and warehousing industries. He has significant experience in EHS reporting, auditing, training, and program development; hazardous material management; EHS and ISO 14001 management systems; US OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and, US EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) development and implementation. Early in his career he worked primarily as an environmental due diligence and remediation consultant overseeing and performing facility decontamination and closure activities; subsurface investigations; Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; and groundwater remediation system operations and maintenance.
Vincent Ricevuto, PE, CHMM, CSP, REM, CIPS has a career spanning over 30 years, having held significant leadership roles. During his tenure of nearly two decades with Louis Berger/WSP, Mr. Ricevuto played a pivotal role in transforming the USPS program from several regional contracts into a national powerhouse, comprising over 20 diverse contracts spanning emergency response, architectural and engineering, commissioning, environmental, and program management. Additionally, he pioneered the emergency services business line at Louis Berger/WSP, establishing it as a separate operation while securing state and federal emergency support contracts. Mr. Ricevuto is professionally certified in engineering (PE) across multiple states and territories, and he holds certifications as a Board-Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Infrastructure Preparedness Specialist (CIPS), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), and Registered Environmental Manager (REM).
