TERRA 'Done with IT' E-Waste Recycling Program Expands to Canada

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster):  TERRA has announced major expansion of its e-waste recycling program into Canada.

eCycle Solutions, with four certified R2 e-waste recycling facilities at Airdrie, AB; Chilliwack, BC; Mississauga, ON; and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC, joined the Done with IT mail-in electronics recycling program. Initially, it will serve the residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec. The program will be expanded to additional provinces in future.

The partnership allows individuals and businesses to ship electronic devices including laptops, desktops, cell phones, hard drives and telecom equipment directly to eCycle Solutions’ certified recycling facilities through the program. Firstly, all the data stored on collected devices are completely erased. The devices are then responsibly recycled or refurbished for reuse.
