Sonoco Announced Senior Leadership Changes for 2025

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster):  Sonoco Products Company announced senior leadership changes with effect from January 3, 2025.

The company named Jerry Cheatham as the interim Chief Financial Officer. He replaces Chief Financial Officer Rob Dillard, who has departed the Company. Most recently, Mr. Cheatham has been Vice President of Global Finance of Sonoco’s Industrial Paper Packaging segment. He had previously served in a number of executive positions in the company's finance and accounting departments.

President and Chief Executive Officer Howard Coker wished Rob luck in his future career and personal pursuits and thanked him for his contributions since joining the company in 2018. He hoped Jerry would keep giving its international finance organization more solidity.

Shawn Munday, Vice President of Strategic Finance, has been assigned responsibility for Sonoco's global treasury, tax, and mergers and acquisitions operations, the firm announced in a news release. Additional operational duties over Sonoco's North America Paper division have been assigned to John Florence, the company's general counsel and secretary. 

Additionally, Lisa Weeks, Vice President of Investor Relations and Global Communications, will be leaving the company by the end of this month, and Roger Schrum has been appointed interim Head of Investor Relations in her place.
