Smurfit Kappa Developed New Sustainable eCommerce Packaging

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Smurfit Kappa announced that it has developed a new sustainable eCommerce packaging solution for RareBoots4u- the leading supplier to classic football boots to several leading players.

The European packaging solutions provider was approached by RareBoots4u to create a customised and sustainable packaging solution that had the flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of sizes of football boots alongside promoting its brand. The solution designed by the company features striking design and clean lines, thus delivering a positive customer experience. The product, which uses substantially lower quantities of material, is completely recyclable, renewable and biodegradable.

Commenting on the innovative development, Eddie Fellows, CEO of Smurfit Kappa UK & Ireland noted that this has been an exciting project for the company to work on. In partnership with RareBoots4u, the company has successfully developed a 100% paper-based packaging solution that reduces their carbon footprint.
