SDI Announced Key Leadership Role Changes and Promotions

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Fort Wayne, Indiana-headquartered Steel Dynamics, Inc. (SDI) announced two key leadership promotions and expanded responsibilities for two its leaders.

According to company press release, Jordan Breiner, who is responsible for the company's Butler Flat Roll Steel Division, has been promoted to a Vice President of Steel Dynamics. Mr. Breiner's promotion to a Vice President of Steel Dynamics is in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the company's Butler Flat Roll Division.

William T. (Tommy) Scruggs, Commercial General Manager of the Flat Roll Steel Group has been promoted to a Vice President of Steel Dynamics, in recognition of his effectiveness and contributions to the company's long-term commercial strategy.

Jeff Hansen, Vice President of Steel Dynamics - Human Resources has been given additional responsibilities for the company's approach and strategy concerning environmental sustainability, including climate related matters. Also, Richard Poinsatte, Vice President and Treasurer of Steel Dynamics – Finance has been given additional oversight regarding the company's strategic business development processes and its primary U.S. government relations.

Mark D. Millett, Chief Executive Officer noted that the company is excited and pleased to recognize the four individuals for their outstanding leadership and positive impact within the company.
