SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. has been certified as a Great Place to Work. The recognition reiterates the company’s ongoing policy to value employee trust, respect, pride and camaraderie.
The prestigious certification is based on the analysis of confidential survey responses. The survey assesses the various facets of company culture including trust, collaboration, fairness, equity, inclusiveness, innovation, and leadership effectiveness. It must be noted that only 3% of the total U.S. civilian workforce are currently employed by Great Place to Work certified organizations.

Commenting on the milestone achievement, Tamara Lundgren, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer stated that it is extremely proud to be honoured with the important recognition.
