SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): One of the biggest European companies in the research and manufacturing of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard, Saica Group, declared its intention to invest over $110 million in the construction of its second corrugated factory in the United States.
The business intends to construct a new corrugated manufacturing plant in Anderson, Indiana. A few days ago, the idea received final approval from the Board of Directors. It is anticipated that building will begin in May of current year, and operations will begin in Q4 of 2026.

The company hopes to generate over 50 full-time, well-paying employment in its first two years of operation. When the ramp-up phase is finished in a few years, the plant will sustain over 100 jobs.
More than 1,200,000 MSF of corrugated packaging may be produced at the new 350,000-square-foot factory. In addition to spaces for production, conversion, and manufacturing, the complex will have office space and a warehouse. The business will be able to drastically cut transportation expenses thanks to its proximity to a railroad line.
The investment shows the company's dedication to stability and long-term growth in the United States, said Susana Alejandro, President and CEO of Saica Group. It also serves as evidence that the business is pursuing its goals on the American continent.
