SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Robex Resources Inc., a Canadian gold developer with a focus on West Africa, said it is on pace to deliver the first gold from its Kiniero project in Guinea by the end of 2025.
The Kiniero mine's construction is proceeding according to plan, the business reported in a news release giving an update on the project. The foundation for the SAG and ball mill is already finished. Additionally, the ROM wall of the primary crusher is finished, and the ROM pad is presently being backfilled.

Over 55% of the platework and structural fabrication is finished. For the intended process facility, 85% of the concrete has been laid. According to the news release, the tank constructions are also almost halfway finished.
By Q4 of this year, the business will be in a strong position to move the Kiniero project closer to production. It further stated that next year's production is anticipated to reach 155,000 ounces.
Conakry, the capital of Guinea, is around 500 kilometers away from Kiniero. The mine produced 418,000 ounces of gold between 2002 and 2014 before being placed under care and maintenance. The project was purchased by Robex and Sycamore Mining in 2022. A 2023 feasibility study recommended a 9.5-year mine life with an annual production of 90,000 ounces, meaning that 851,000 ounces would be produced over the mine's lifetime.
