Robex Resources Anticipates First Gold Pour from Guinea Gold Project in Q4 2025

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Montreal, Canada-based junior miner Robex Resources announced that its operations in Guinea will help it achieve the goal of becoming a mid-tier West African producer. It plans to accelerate the development of Kiniero gold project with the aim of pouring first gold in the last quarter of 2025.

Since 2017, the company’s operations in the region has been focused on gold production at the Nampala mine in Mali. However, the miner has been compelled to turn their attention to neighboring Guinea due to recent events in that nation, which include conflicts between the Mali government and foreign miners. It should be mentioned that Nampala is situated in close proximity to Mali's border with Burkina Faso, which is regarded as a significant hub for militant activities linked with al-Qaeda.

Four Barrick personnel were detained by the military-backed government of Mali, and Mark Bristow, the CEO of the business, was the subject of an arrest warrant. Additionally, Terry Holohan, the CEO of Resolute Mining, and two other employees were detained for nearly two weeks before being released once the firm agreed to pay to settle a tax dispute.

Robex recently asserted that it has resolved all government tax and customs disputes. In accordance with the nation's new mining code, it also came to an agreement to increase the government's ownership in the mine to 20%.
