SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Paper Excellence announced that it has signed a non-binding co-location agreement with One Sky Forest Products at its Prince Albert mill site. Further to the agreement, One Sky will co-locate its new oriented strand board (OSB) operations at the site.
The company press release stated that One Sky will occupy approximately one-tenth of the existing mill property. Also, the log storage areas and existing infrastructure, including electrical, natural gas, and rail lines will be shared by both the companies. It must be noted that both Paper Excellence and One Sky had recently received softwood and hardwood fibre allocations from the provincial government of Saskatchewan.
