Customers can sign up for the initiative on Panasonic's official campaign page by completing a short form. An ERTH Hero will then arrange a time that works for you to be picked up. There should be a minimum of three things in every collection box. A RM50 Club Panasonic e-voucher will be given to program participants, which can be used to purchase a minimum of RM150.
Malaysia produces about 365 kilotons of electronic garbage annually, according to approximations. Additionally, it is anticipated that this number would rise to over 24.5 million units by the end of this year.
According to Keisuke Nishida, managing director of Panasonic Malaysia, the campaign supports the company's corporate mission and is consistent with its ongoing efforts to promote the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. According to Nishida, the partnership with ERTH would not only raise consumer awareness but also motivate action to lessen the environmental impact of electronic trash.
