SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Nucor Corporation-Metl-Span’s parent company announced official opening of its new insulated metal panel manufacturing facility in Brigham City, Utah. This is the company’s eighth such manufacturing facility in the entire North American region.
The new facility, set up at an investment of approximately $35 million, produces a wide range of insulated wall and roof panels catering to the needs of various markets such as warehousing, distribution and data centers. The 127,000-square-foot facility features cutting-edge energy efficient features with sustainability in mind.

Lewisville, Texas-headquartered insulated metal panel business produces approximately 100,000 tons of insulated panel products every year. The company offers extensive range of sustainable solutions to customers spread across entire North America.
Thad Chapman, vice president and general manager of Nucor noted that the opening of the new insulated panel facility in Utah marks a significant expansion, which in turn will expand its reach to customers in the western United States and Canada. The state-of-the-art facility promises to deliver unparalleled customer service in the region, Chapman added.
