(SWDP) - a leading manufacturer and installer of data center infrastructure. SWDP’s offices and manufacturing facility are located in San Bernardino, California. The company employs approximately 147 people. SWDP has an exceptional customer base of leading companies.

The $115 million acquisition will result in the launch of Nucor Data Systems- a new business unit that will help the company better serve its customers in the data center infrastructure industry. SWDP and Nucor Data Systems will provide Nucor's Warehouse Systems businesses with expanded and new product capabilities. SWDP's compatibility with the current manufacturing capabilities of Nucor Warehouse Systems will generate significant growth opportunities. In addition, the acquisition is expected to create a number of synergies with Nucor's core steelmaking business.
Chad Utermark, Executive Vice President of New Markets and Innovation at Nucor said that the company is excited to add SWDP and new teammates to Nucor family of companies. The acquisition will give the company new capabilities to serve a rapidly growing market and will make it a preferred supplier to many of the nation's largest data center operators, he added.
