Novelis’ Innovation Capabilities Win Top Industry Accolades

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Novelis, Inc. announced that its strong innovation capabilities have won three prestigious industry awards. The company’s Advanz 6HS-s615 aluminum alloy material won the awards.

The innovative product won three awards- the 2020 China Auto Parts Industry Development and Innovation Award issued by Autos and Accessories, 2020 Lingxuan Innovation Award issued by Automotive Business Review and Automobile awarded by Fogo Technology Innovation Award.

According to the company, the product was introduced into the Chinese market last year. Since then, it has been used extensively used by automobile manufacturers for manufacturing many automotive parts including automotive rail structures. There has been increased demand from OEMS, especially on account of the product’s featured capability in promoting the development of light-weight vehicles.

Mr. Liu Qing, Managing Director of Novelis China noted that the aluminum alloy material meets high-strength requirements. Also, it has excellent forming ability and high resistance features. Moreover, it has proved its extraordinary performance in bending and collision, he added.

The company promised that it will adhere to the customer-centric innovation concept, in line with changing trends.
