New Trash and Recycling Program Launches in Fairfax, VA in September

SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): The City of Fairfax is rolling out a new trash and recycling cart program beginning in September to improve collection efficiency, enhance safety, and support sustainability efforts. As part of this initiative, all residents who receive curbside collection services will be provided with new 64-gallon trash and recycling carts at no cost.

These carts are designed for ease and accessibility, featuring sturdy wheels for effortless maneuvering and secure lids to prevent litter, keep neighborhoods clean, and protect waste from the elements. The transition to standardized carts will help create a cleaner, more efficient waste collection system for the entire community.
