SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Mondi declared that its €95 million investment at its Polish containerboard plant in Swiecie is now complete. It is anticipated that the renovation will increase the mill's kraftliner capacity by roughly 55,000 tons.
Paper machines PM2 and PM5 have had a thorough refurbishment as a result of the investment. Along with the investment, a new anaerobic treatment plant with an integrated cooling system was installed. It has also prompted significant improvements to the energy recovery system, the recycled fiber line, and the pulp mill.

In addition to enhancing product quality, the improvements will also result in significant environmental benefits through reduced water consumption and harmful emissions.
The investment's completion demonstrates the business's dedication to the efficient and sustainable operations described in the Mondi Action Plan 2030. It also shows the company's steadfast dedication to the economic development of the area.
Managing Director of Mondi Swiecie Tomasz Katewicz expressed his pride in the team's extraordinary abilities and dedication, which enabled the business to reach this significant milestone. He continued, saying that Mondi wants to provide its clients with paper that is even better.
