It must be noted that JSW Steel USA has been a long-time customer of Primetals Technologies. The new agreement is an extension of the business relationship between the two companies.
The installation of the twin-station VTD, the largest in the entire North American region, will help JSW Steel USA to produce cleaner steel, by reducing levels of gases including carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and sulphur. The works are expected to be completed during the second half of 2025.
Jonathan Shank, CEO, JSW Steel USA-Mingo Junction noted that the proposed project will further strengthen the company’s sustainability commitment. Also, it will provide further growth momentum by way of expansion of its product portfolio.
