SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Hendrickson announces that they have entered into a new multi-year agreement with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL), NTT INDYCAR SERIES program that will extend the full season associate sponsorship and expand it to see Hendrickson become the primary sponsor of the No. 15 entry for Graham Rahal at events at Barber Motorsports Park, April 26-28, Road America, June 7-9 and Portland International Raceway, August 23-25.
“Hendrickson is honored to extend its sponsorship of the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team,” added Jeff Sass, Vice President of Marketing for Hendrickson. “The opportunity to have the engineers of Hendrickson and Rahal Letterman Lanigan working together to share best practices regarding the effect of road inputs and suspension technology is exciting for both teams. Our customers also appreciate the affiliation and hospitality that RLL provides throughout the year. This is a win-win for Hendrickson and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.”
Hendrickson joined RLL as an associate sponsor in 2019 and created a purpose-built engineering support trailer that made its debut at the 2019 Indianapolis 500. The trailer enables the team to maximize the information sharing between their three full-time INDYCAR programs at each of the race events in the interest of performance. Hendrickson extended their partnership with the team in 2022 and added the primary sponsorship of Christian Lundgaard’s entry at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio and was also the primary sponsor for Katherine Legge’s entry at the 2023 Indianapolis 500.
Graham Rahal entered into a new multi-year agreement with the team starting in 2024. He earned two of the final four poles in 2023, made three front row starts and returned to the podium at the Gallagher Grand Prix at Indianapolis with a second-place finish in what was the closest finish recorded on the road course with a margin of -0.4779 to the winner, Dixon, after he led a race-high 36 laps. The Hendrickson logo was on his race car in 2023, but this will be the first time they will be a primary sponsor on his entry.
“It’s exciting that our partnership continues to grow with Hendrickson,” added Graham Rahal, driver of the No. 15 Honda-powered entry. “The Hendrickson Engineering Support Trailer is my home away from home at race events as I spend a large portion of my time at the track there. We have had competitive runs at Barber and Road America in recent years and started from pole at Portland this year, so I’m excited to see if we can get a win for the Hendrickson Honda next year.”
