Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC noted that the meet will provide an opportunity for manufacturers, exporters and importers of gems and jewellery to gain crucial market insights to further expand their business. It will ensure opening up of new avenues and deepening of knowledge sharing between the two traditional trade partners, he added.
During the lockdown period, the GJEPC had successfully organized virtual buyer-seller meets on loose diamonds and plain gold jewellery. Also, it plans to organize similar meets on other product categories such as studded, platinum and costume jewellery.
