The Chamber of Commerce commended the company for its dedicated efforts, which has helped it to recover, after being damaged by fire at least four times, since its inception in 1919. The blaze in 2012 had caused $20 million in damages and had led to closure of the mill for almost eighteen months. The most recent fire incident happened in 2014.
Despite all these setbacks, the company has invested over $42 million over the past decade in modernizing the facilities by incorporating modern technologies and state-of-the-art equipment. Consequently, the company has achieved significant boost in performance.
