DS Smith's current portfolio of education-focused projects in Zarnesti and the Brasov area is enhanced by the recently created LDC. Students who complete the training program will be better equipped to either seek higher education at specialized universities or more quickly integrate into the workforce. Both the company's facilities and the school's technology lab will host the training.
The program would assist young people in developing their skills and having a clear professional path, according to Diana Ciuraru, Human Resources Manager at Zarnesti Paper Mill, who commented on the development. Additionally, she said, it will result in the development of more resilient communities and stronger teams.
