DS Smith Launched State-of-the-Art Customer Innovation Hub

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): European packaging major DS Smith announced launch of new Customer Innovation Hub in Madrid. The innovation centre will help brands and manufacturers to meet rising customer demand by facilitating collaboration. This in turn is expected to result in enhanced development of sustainable fibre-based packaging solutions, thus contributing towards a circular economy.

The centre will feature several state-of-the-art technologies and synergies, providing an interactive experience for customers and visitors to explore and share sustainable packaging solutions. It will mainly focus on sustainable and circular ready packaging for brands and manufacturers in the Iberian region, with special focus on specific sectors including e-commerce and automotive.

The Innovation Centre offers state-of-the-art digital tools such as 360º cameras and LED screens. It provides virtual and augmented reality experiences to customers and visitors, the press release noted.

Jooo Gordilho, Customer Engagement Manager Iberia, DS Smith stated that the Customer Innovation Hubs by the company intends tofoster and support collaboration with its existing customers and also to provide inspiration to potential new customers.
