SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Commercial Metals Company (CMC), located in Irving, Texas, released its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2025, which concluded on February 28, 2025.

Adjusted net earnings for the second quarter came to $29.3 million, or $0.26 per diluted share, as opposed to $85.9 million, or $0.73 per diluted share, during the same period last year. Additionally, the business recorded a core EBITDA margin of 7.5% and consolidated core EBITDA of $131.0 million for the quarter.
With around $1.6 billion in available liquidity at the conclusion of the quarter, the company's balance sheet and liquidity situation remained solid.
