SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Cascades, Inc. announced its decision to establish a Covid-19 vaccination hub in Kingsley Falls during the month of May this year. This is response to the government’s call to businesses for support to its ongoing fight against the spread of the pandemic.
The Kingsley Falls site will support the actions of the health and social services network in the Mauricie – Centre-du-Québec region. The hub will provide supervised vaccination of not only Cascades employees and their families, but also of general public.

Mario Plourde, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cascades noted that the decision to contribute to the vaccination effort was made without hesitation. It is nothing but a natural extension of all the actions put in place by the company to fight against the virus. The move demonstrates the company’s desire to extend a helping hand to the entire community, especially during these extremely difficult times, Plourde added.
Meantime, Gilles Hudon, Associate CEO of CIUSSS MCQ stated that it is not a surprise to see Cascades lending a hand in the COVID-19 vaccination drive. Furthermore, Hudson expressed gratefulness for its participation in the government initiative to accelerate the vaccination of the population.
