The internal memo further states that employees could mitigate earnings disruption by requesting a vacation pay advance for any such vacation accrued since May. It must be noted that only those employees working in critical positions need to come to the site, while all other employees will not work during the curtailment periods.
The memo clearly specifies the return date for various shifts of mill workers involved in the sawmill and planer production. After the first curtailment, the weekend personnel and weekday employees will return to work on July 14th and July 15th respectively. The graveyard shifts are expected to resume on July 14th.
Following the second curtailment, weekend personnel and weekday workers will resume work on September 9th and September 6th respectively. The graveyard shift workers will return to work on September 8th.
