SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The fourth quarter and full year 2024 gold production and sales figures were released by B2Gold Corp. The business also announced its cost and total gold production projection for 2025.
The business reported producing 186,001 ounces of gold overall in Q4 2024. The Fekola mine's output was less than anticipated. However, Masbate and Otjikoto both kept up their strong performance, which helped to overcome Fekola's productivity drop. At the lower end of the company's updated 2024 production projection, the consolidated gold production for the entire year 2024 came to 804,778 ounces.
In 2024, consolidated gold revenue was $500 million in the fourth quarter and $1.90 billion for the entire year. 801,524 ounces of gold were sold annually, while 187,793 ounces were sold quarterly.
The business projects that between 970,000 and 1,075,000 ounces of gold will be produced overall in 2025. The planned mining and processing of higher-grade ore from the Fekola Phase 7 is partly responsible for the expected increase in production when compared to 2024. Additionally, it anticipates that all-in sustaining expenses and total consolidated cash operating costs will stay constant throughout the current year.
According to a news statement from the corporation, the Gramalote Project feasibility study in Colombia is expected to be finished by the middle of 2025.
