SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has announced appointment of Michael Davenport as the new executive director of the Auto/Steel Partnership (A/SP). He succeeds John Catterall, who was recently appointed as the vice president of the automotive program for AISI.

Davenport has extensive experience in Body-In-White (BIW), closures, sealing, exteriors and vehicle assembly.
