1. Must have 1-3 years of clerical experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
2. Must have a minimum of 2 years college education or comparable experience.
3. Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization in an effective manner.
4. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to follow through on deadlines; and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
1. Assists in the processing of weekly payroll for drivers, as needed.
2. Properly administer requisitions to include generating and receipt of them.
3. Review and enter all necessary paperwork provided by truck drivers.
4. Keep track of all freight rates, including entry into the company electronic system.
5. Produce monthly and quarterly fuel reports for management to review.
6. Assist in the company’s involvement with the Blue Bag program.
7. Entry of sales into company site.
8. Responsible for all equipment permits, license and any state/federal related paperwork collection, entry and filing.
9. Answers incoming calls for the dispatch department.
10. Reconcile department petty cash account on a monthly basis.
11. Other duties as assigned by management.
