Sales Executive for First Tech Recycling Services in
First Tech Recycling is an electrical and electronics recycling company. First Tech specializes in the recycling of computing, telecommunications, and sensitive military electronics, precious metals recovery and data security. First Tech provides recycling services for Original Equipment Manufacturers, Government agencies, Cities and counties, the financial and insurance industries and other large corporate entities. First Tech Recycling is seeking a highly motivated Recycling Sales Executive with experienced in recycling of electronics scrap, hardware and components. Candidate will be responsible for marketing First Tech?s electronic recycling services to target clients acquiring electronics recycling contracts. Candidate will need to bring a strong rolodex of contacts in this target market and be able to effectively use diverse resources to research potential clients and identify opportunities throughout a wide range of enterprises. Understand the process from gathering electronic scrap and how to process and market it for sale. ? Sales and business development experience GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Reporting to the Sales Director, Recycling Consultant will develop a supply source of new, used, and refurbished electronics equipment and component parts for a well established, growing recycling business by establishing a strong, repeat client business in order to increase revenue. To ensure that organizational services consistently meet or exceed client expectations. Client development may be regional and may require some travel.NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The position is responsible for generating new business and promoting our recycling services through various means. This position requires selling a service versus a product, and acquiring new customers through intelligent, consistent and persistent prospecting. The position requires the ability to forecast, research, and execute plans that will build current and future business. Independent judgment and initiative, and an entrepreneurial drive are needed to successfully accomplish set goals. This position requires creative thinking. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: ?Develop target client lists and initiate contact through cold calls and marketing emails ?Meet with potential clients to develop complete recycling and End-of-Life product solutions ?Identify additional opportunities with current accounts ?Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction ?Attend industry events that highlight service solutions ?Complete NDAs and SOWs to maximize revenue ?Communicate all client requirements accurately across the organization to ensure successful implementation. ?Monthly review of accounts to identify value proposition ?Set up recycling programs for clients REQUIRED: ?Knowledge of business processes and structure relating to selling ?services?. ?Persuasive and motivational communication skills, both verbal and written ?Strong interpersonal, organization, and time management skills ?Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet marketing ?Valid State drivers license ?Must have experience in electronic recycling, strong sales experience, cold calling experience ?College education a plus PREFERRED: Desire to work for environmentally responsible company WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work comfortably in a team and a professional office environment. Must work well under deadlines and related stresses in a timely manner. Work is done sitting at a desk and traveling to meet existing and potential customers in the select sales region.
