To operate the Nulife Glass CRT Recycling facility in accordance with specified operating procedures, environmental permits and laws, DEC, OSHA, employment laws and any other regulation which may be bestowed on the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting and effective operational control of the entire recycling site
• Managing furnace strategy and communication for successful 24/7 operation
• Liaise with customers, regulatory representatives and third parties
• Responsible for staff recruitment, training, coaching and disciplinary actions
• Adhere to OSHA, DEC and all other regulatory compliances
• Develop Standardized Operating Procedures (Best Practices)
• Create facility policy such as, but not limited to, security, safety, visitor, etc.
• Maintain facility and site to governmental, local and federal, codes and standards, along with corporate requests
• Ensure all products entering and exiting facility are properly secured and documented

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three (3) years of facility/operations management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting effectively managing and developing a medium sized staff
• Two (2) years of work experience in the waste sector and understanding of waste regulations
• Two (2) years of experience enforcing procedures, writing modified and new procedures, and writing risk assessments
• Two (2) years of experience working with OSHA regulations and compliance guidelines
• Five (5) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experienced decision maker who can effectively work autonomously as well as take off-site direction from management
• Maintain a clear and open line of communication with management at all times
• Understand the importance of regulatory administration and workplace legal requirements as it pertains to equipment, staff and general operations
• Possess the ability to be customer facing when visitors are on site
• Perform as a respectable and detailed correspondent and trainer to management, peers and subordinates
• Possess a start-up/entrepreneurial mentality: ability to have a flexible work schedule to go from start-up operation to full production 24/7
• Possess a basic industrial electrical understanding for monitoring furnace operation
