The Opportunity

We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to provide specialised knowledge of the control system, including working closely with internal stakeholders to maximise the control systems availability and reliability

What the role entails

This role is a great opportunity to update and implement maintenance strategies and carry out effective analysis to ensure a stable and reliable control system operates in a safe working environment. Working a 4 days on, 3 off roster and reporting to the Senior Electrical engineer, you will be:

• Assisting with the design and construction of all Control Systems related installations and modifications including drawings.
• Working collaboratively with other personnel within the Engineering department to share knowledge, supporting any capital and operating project requirements
• Preparing scopes of work, cost estimates, work packages, FAT, SAT and commissioning plans for Control Systems project work
• providing Control Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Pi application advice across the entire business including informal training as required.
• Engaging and supervising contractors as required for Control Systems capital projects and compiling Capital Expenditure Applications (CEA) for Control Systems capital work as required
• Maintaining availability, reliability and serviceability of control system’s hardware, software licenses and software patches
