To develop, monitor, and control all Site systems, policies and procedures to assure that all business transactions are accounted for accurately and timely within the scope of corporate guidelines and in compliance with regulatory statutes. To research and advise Site Manager of unfavorable cost and cash drains on the company and to help develop programs for improvement. To act as liaison between the Site and General Office in the area of financial administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for maintaining ISO, OSHA, and GMP standards.
Coordinate and formalize the annual budgets, profit plans and quarterly objectives.
Track plans and budgets against actual costs and explain all variances.
Have a good understanding of product costs including the makeup of actual expenses and related cost drivers.
Identify, control and report scrap, expense waste and any other negative impacts to the P&L. Identify areas that affect cash flow and recommend or initiate improvements.
Supervise and maintain a perpetual inventory control system explaining all cycle counting and physical inventory adjustments.
Maintain continuous improvement in all procedures and systems.
Work with unit/product teams to obtain a better understanding of operations and help train them in areas of cost and other financial matters.
Supervise and verify the accuracy of Site master files.
Supervise and maintain a monthly physical inventory and its valuation.
Assure compliance to the Accounts Receivable Credit Approval System.
Report any potential liability to the Site Manager and the Corporate Controller.
Report immediately any legal or regulatory agency problem to the Site Manager and the General Office.
Maintain and supervise compliance to policies and procedures outlined in the Administration Manual.
Convert all purchase orders.
Match purchase orders with RRs and invoices.
Investigate and assist customers and associates in resolving billing and payment problems.
Handling and solving questions or concerns from vendors.
Assist in cycle counts.
Organize, maintain and file plant generated invoice and shipping receipt source documents as back up for future reference.
Assists other departments in finding batches and invoices in Accounts Payable files.
In charge of petty cash and p-cards.
Remains available to other departments for additional responsibilities and special projects.
Initiate action for food safety issues.
Other duties as assigned.

4 year degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. Requires walking primarily on a level surface for varying periods throughout the day in the Production area. Reaching above shoulder heights; and below the waist lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 lbs. for files, computer printouts on occasion. Could involve long periods of Computer work.
7 day a week operation; may require working more than 40 hours.
The performance of this position includes exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
