The Opportunity

We are looking for a Plant Operator - Concentrator to operate safely and efficiently in a process that provides customers with high quality copper and precious metals.

Rio Tinto Kennecott is a fully integrated mining operation located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, US. Kennecott is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rio Tinto. For more than 110 years, Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich orebody of the Bingham Canyon Mine. • Working as part of a team to maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
• Responding calmly and safely to safety hazards and operational issues as needed
• Receiving instructions from Supervisors and other leaders related to operating or controlling assigned equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
