The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is seeking a proven, energetic leader as its next Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer. For more than 50 years, SWANA has been the leading professional association in the solid waste field, serving more than 8,300 members throughout North America, and thousands more with conferences, certifications, publications, and technical training courses.

The ED/CEO will be responsible for managing the staff and collaborating with SWANA’s board of directors to establish and fulfill annual and ongoing program objectives, meet or exceed financial goals, and retain and grow SWANA membership. The ideal candidate will possess qualities making it likely these objectives will be attained. Salary will be commensurate with experience, and the position offers a performance-based bonus.
