In service for over 60 years, Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium (RTFT) extract ilmenite deposits in hard rock or accumulations in ancient beach sands. RTFT offers exciting career opportunities in the open pit, the metallurgical complex and its port facilities in Quebec.

Job Functions

This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop yourself and to progress within a global organization. You will work on a schedule of 5 working days, 2 days off and will report to Superintendent - Mechanical maintenance, you will have the following tasks:

• You are responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance workers.
• You need to maximize equipment availability by directing repairs, inspections and modifications of all equipment.
• You will assist in the preparation and execution planned shutdown.
• You make sure that the work is performed in accordance with the deadlines while meeting health and safety standards as well as quality control procedures.
