The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor - Employee Relations to manage employee and labour relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices. Provides specialist employment relationship service and advice on labour related issues to ensure consistent and fair implementation and adherence to policy, legislation and sound employee relations. Represents the organisation in contract negotiations with labour unions. Administers collective bargaining agreements and grievances. Develops and implements policies and procedures, including grievance procedures and exit interviews.
GBS People Services is a human resource function that provides alignment and support to the Rio Tinto Group. The team is responsible for recruitment, benefits, compensation, and capability development services.
What the role entails
This role is a great opportunity to manage the employee relations function to ensure that employee issues are handled in a fair and equitable manner according to relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures. Working a 5 days on 2 off roster, you will be:
