ZEOS eko-sistem doo (hereinafter referred to as the System Operator ) is the first Operator of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Management System in Bosnia and Herzegovina, authorized by the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The system operator is a legal entity to which importers, distributors and manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as System Obligors ) have transferred the obligation to report, manage and dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

The purpose of establishing the System Operator is:

To provide all taxpayers with equal and more favorable business conditions,

Not to pay the penalty fees prescribed by the ordinance, but to pay lower fees defined by the System Operator for the first placement of new electrical and electronic equipment

To facilitate the manner of reporting by the Obligors of the system for the sale or placement of new electrical and electronic equipment

To establish a quality and sustainable system of disposal (treatment and recycling) of electrical and electronic waste

To provide legal support and free consultations for existing and future System Binders

The system operator was established as a service that is available to its system payers and uses its knowledge and resources to facilitate their reporting in the best possible way and enable them to fulfill their legal obligations.

Also, the role of the System Operator is to ensure the payment of lower fees for sold electrical and electronic equipment, in relation to the independent fulfillment of legal obligations by importers, manufacturers and distributors, which for system payers means reducing operating costs . The System Operator also takes care of the disposal of electrical and electronic waste by the System Obligors. The Statute of the System Operator and the Decision on the Establishment of the System Operator clearly define the principle of non-profit business, that any profit of the System Operator cannot be paid to the owners, but is used exclusively for performing and developing the core business of the System Operator.

All legal entities can submit their e-waste free of charge to our disposal system via an electronic account here . Citizens can dispose of their e-waste in our street containers or bring it to the nearest recycling yard, free of charge.
